Privacy Policy

Jobefi (“we”, “us”) operates tryjobefi.com, an AI career agent that scores job matches, tailors application documents, and optionally auto-applies on your behalf. For any privacy question or request, contact the data controller at rahulpandey.creates@gmail.com.

• Account & identity data - your name, email address, and profile picture, obtained via Google Sign-In. We never see or store your Google password.
• Career & job-search data - your CV/resume content, target roles, work-type and work-mode preferences, salary expectations, location and relocation preferences, availability, and other details you provide during onboarding.
• Application & activity data - every job match we score for you, every document we tailor, every application we submit (or you approve), and a timestamped audit log of each of those actions.
• Billing data - your subscription plan and status. Card and payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Dodo Payments, not by us - we only receive the subscription status and metadata needed to run your account.
• Technical data - standard request logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated by our infrastructure providers for security and reliability.

• To score how well open roles fit your profile and explain why, in plain language.
• To generate a tailored CV and cover letter for each role you choose to pursue.
• To submit applications on your behalf, but only above the fit threshold you set, and only if you've enabled auto-apply - every action is logged so you can review it later.
• To authenticate you, maintain your session, and secure your account.
• To process billing and manage your subscription via Dodo Payments.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of the service.

Matching and document tailoring are performed by Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.3 70B), with Groq as a fallback provider. Your data is sent to whichever of these two providers is processing the request at that moment, and to no other AI or model provider.

We share data only with the vendors that make the service work, and only to the extent needed:

• Google - for authentication only (Sign-In with Google).
• Clerk - our authentication and session infrastructure provider.
• InsForge - our database infrastructure provider.
• Cloudflare - hosting, our API, and Workers AI for matching/tailoring.
• Groq - fallback AI inference provider when Cloudflare Workers AI is unavailable.
• Dodo Payments - subscription billing and payment processing.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any party outside the list above, except where required by law.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, so the service can keep working - matching, tailoring, and your audit trail all depend on your history being available to you. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted from our systems, aside from what we're legally required to retain for billing or tax records.

You can export a full copy of your data or permanently delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings - this is a self-serve, one-click action, not a support ticket. Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the UK/EU GDPR), you may also have the right to access, correct, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data. We use a single session cookie set by Clerk to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your CV and personal data are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is restricted, and every automated action Jobefi takes on your behalf is written to an audit log so activity on your account is always traceable.

Jobefi is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 16.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
